Here are a few writing prompts to get you started:
1) Write several lines incorporating rain showers, puddles, raindrops, or storms.
2) Think baby showers. What types of board books or picture books would people would buy as gifts for baby showers? Write a few titles to help inspire a full story.
3) What about meteor showers or other star shows in the night sky? Do some research outdoors or online and include some details in your next story.
This April, use the phrase “April showers bring May flowers” to help inspire story ideas.
